"would be" and "would act" or "was" and "acted"?

"Open MP" => "OpenMP" and, as Reinhold says, "OpenNCC" => "OpenACC".

Upon checking, this appears to be incorrect. Meeting 27 was on
19th-20th September 2013, and that seems to have been the last (though
not the last one scheduled) - see http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/plv/.
It would be better to change "the last WG5 meeting" to "September 2013".

Meeting 27 had an unusual attendance list, with several people present
who had not been previously active (some of the ones named in Las
Vegas).

Having checked up, it appears that the shenanigans were not public
knowledge in SC21, and they also dominate WG14, so it might be unwise to
say "C++". It might be better to change "Certain members of the C++
committee were" to "A group of people active in other SC22 working
groups but not previously active in WG23".

Nick.
