I did ask Espen about the possibility of attending, either at John's 
invitation, or by having the Norwegian standards body designate him as a 
representative.  In general, he was keen on the idea, but he already had 
another commitment for the time of the meeting.  We should certainly 
keep him in mind for future meetings.
