I have been corresponding with Espen Myklebust from Norway, who is an enthusiastic and thoughtful user of Fortran but has no official ISO status. He constructed a long list of wanted features, which he has reduced to 16 that align better with the spirit of Markham resolution M6. These are in N1972.
