WG5,

Item 8 of our agenda for Delft is

Construct an initial list of deficiencies and discrepancies in
Fortran 2008 to be addressed in the next revision.

I have been corresponding with Espen Myklebust from Norway, who is an
enthusiastic and thoughtful user of Fortran but has no official ISO
status. He constructed a long list of wanted features, which he has
reduced to 16 that align better with the spirit of Markham resolution
M6. These are in N1972. I would be most grateful if you would have a
look at them and see if there are any that your country might wish to
advocate.

With best wishes,

John.
