Dear All, A question from Steve Lionel prompted me to start looking at the logistics = of meeting 201 in Delft. The following is a pointer to a map of Delft with hotels and the train stat= ions involved: https://maps.google.com/maps?q=3Dhotels+in+delft&hl=3Den&ll=3D52.000524,4.3= 6758&spn=3D0.026791,0.084028&sll=3D51.996138,4.369125&sspn=3D0.026794,0.084= 028&hq=3Dhotels&hnear=3DDelft,+South+Holland,+The+Netherlands&t=3Dm&fll=3D5= 2.006865,4.361229&fspn=3D0.053574,0.168056&z=3D14 In 2005, Matthijs van Waveren made a block booking at the hotel marked "I" = in the map (Hotel Coen Delft, hotelcoendelft.nl - close to the main train s= tation, which is indicated by this white-on-blue square nearby). Following the train tracks southward, you'll see another "station pictogram= " near the word "Kruithuisweg" - that's Delft Zuid station. Our meeting facilities at NEN are approximately 300 metres from that statio= n. In 2005, we walked from Delft's city center to the NEN building (a 35 minut= e walk), but the location close to the train station means that there is th= e option of going by train in case of bad weather ... Do you want me to make a block booking at Hotel Coen, or do you want to use= this map to find another hotel of your liking nearby ? (as you can see, th= ere are about half a dozen hotels within 500 meters - I myself stayed at Ho= tel Leeuwenbrug in 2005). Please indicate your preferences.
