Because I was not at the meeting, I have asked Dan what happened. He 
assures me that "off-line work" is a fair description. The work was done 
by Dan. He discussed the comments of Van and Malcolm when they were free 
and also took into account comments from Bill, Tobias, and David. He 
says that very little plenary time was taken because all that was done 
was to announce intentions on Monday and the availability of a new 
version later in the week.
