Meeting Location:
Training center at IBM Toronto Lab. It is located at the ground floor near =
the main lobby. Daniel will be at the main lobby at 8:30am on June 25, 2012=
. The security personal can also give you directions.
Coffee, water and cookies will be provided throughout the week.

Meeting Time:
9:00 - 17:00

Social events:
Daily. FIDS after the meeting in the bar of the Hilton.
Tuesday at 1700. Tour of the IBM Toronto Lab., taking about 40 minutes.
Wednesday evening. Meal in a local restaurant.

2. Howard Johnson Markham. Newly renovated. Room rate $75+tax(13%)=3D $84.7=
5 and $12 + tax extra if you want the breakfast. They have the complimentar=
y shuttle service to the Lab in the morning from 8:30am to 10am and coming =
back from 4pm to 6pm. There is also complimentary internet service in the r=
oom. It is about 4km to the Lab. Please quote "IBM Canada" when booking.

3. Monte Carlo Inns at Markham. A brand new hotel opened this Fall. It is a=
bout 30 minutes of walking distance. $95.90 + 13%tax
Breakfast, parking, local phone calls and hi speed internet access is inclu=
ded in the rate.
Information provided by the hotel:
1.        to quote either the group block number or "IBM CANADA" when makin=
g the reservation over the phone
2.        We will ask for Credit Card to secure the reservation
3.       They have to make the reservation before cut-off date which is May=
 23, 2012, rooms that are not picked up after this day will be released bac=
k in the inventory.
4.       Check in time is 3:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am
5.       We also have 24 hour cancellation policy, so if for some reason th=
e reservation needs to be cancelled, they have to call us 24 hours prior to=
 the arrival date otherwise the credit card will be charge for 1 night as N=
o Show.
6.       Scheduled shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotel. =
I will give the details closer to the date of the meeting.

Transportation: (from the Toronto Pearson Airport to the city of Markham)

Taxi: about $80CAD to $100CAD (tax included)

GO bus: You can use the GO bus service from the airport to the Richmond Hil=
l Center. You will then need to take York Region Transit route 1 that runs =
along Highway 7 to get to Hilton or Howard Johnson hotel. You will need tra=
nsfer at the intersection of Warden/Hwy7 to get to the hotel of Monte Carlo=
. The GO bus station is located at the ground level of Terminal 1. There is=
 airport shuttle service that can take you from other terminals (2 or 3) to=
 Terminal 1. The GO bus service has fixed schedule. Please check the follow=
ing link for the schedule of the date of your arrival (http://gotransitnlb.=

e single-ride fare for the GO bus from the airport to Richmond Hill Center =
is $5.35CAD. Then the YRT bus is $4.25.
