My message replied to Nick's initial observations.  After my posting, 
Nick sent a second message that he, personally, might have difficulty 
programming some of this stuff.  I was certainly not responding to that 
second message. I never occurred to me to suggest that Nick personally 
was an incompetent programmer, and I'm sorry if anyone took my comments 
that way.  Indeed, I suspect Nick is being modest about his abilities here.

Except that I did not say "only". On purpose. I realize that there are 
some experienced programmers who could create bad code using a new 
feature. But I also know from actual example that there are experienced 
programmers who do understand this feature and do write good code.
