Rather late in the day, I have realized that the straw vote that we took on the 
last day of the Fairfax meeting:

Straw/straw vote: 4-way vote and can vote more than once.
Keep macros & bits	6
Do macros only		7
Do bits only		0
Do neither		4

does in fact give us guidance on priorities. If time permits J3 to complete only 
one of macros and bits, WG5 prefers macros, since there were a total of 13 votes 
for macros and a total of 6 votes for bits.
